McPherson Wine

Australia wine making began with the arrival of the first fleet in Sydney come in 1788. On board were vine cutting for the Cape of Good Hope convicts from England. Australia has been producing wine ever since. Wine is grown in all six states and two territories, the majority of the production coming from the south and Southeast portions of the continent. In all, there are about 930 wineries in Australia.
